Terms for The Circle STHLM

1. Page Overview

These terms (“Terms”) govern your subscription and membership in The Circle STHLM (“The Circle”, “we”, “us”), as well as your use of our services, Circle Meets, and digital platforms. By signing up for membership, making a payment, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

Member

An individual who has an active membership in The Circle.

Services

Membership and the experiences, meetings, and digital features offered within The Circle (e.g., Circle Meets, group chats, and other digital communication).

Subscription

A membership in The Circle is offered as Quarter (3 months), Half-year (6 months), or Flexible membership (Luminary), in accordance with the terms at the time of purchase.

3. Membership & Services

What is included in each membership is stated on the website at the time of purchase.

The Circle is a living concept and may evolve over time. Formats, content, and design of our services may therefore be adjusted, without significantly reducing the overall value of an ongoing membership.

4. Orders & Agreements

The membership agreement is entered into when you complete payment at checkout and receive an order confirmation via email.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during the order process is correct and up to date.

The member must provide their correct first name, last name and email address when registering. The Circle may request additional information if necessary in order to administer the membership and verify the identity of members in connection with member activities such as Circle Meet.

5. Payment & termination

All prices are stated in SEK and include value-added tax (VAT) unless otherwise specified.

Payments are processed via The Circle’s payment partner (Stripe). Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by The Circle.

The membership fee is charged in advance for each billing period.

5.1 Payment Terms

The first payment is made upon registration of the membership.

Thereafter, the membership fee is automatically charged on the same date each month as the date the membership was initiated.

In the event of a failed or missed payment, the membership may be temporarily suspended until payment has been completed.

5.2 Membership and Cancellation

Membership

The Circle offers memberships of three (3) or six (6) months. The membership is billed monthly and applies for the full selected period.

Quarter and Half-year run for a fixed contract period of three (3) and six (6) months respectively and are billed monthly. The membership remains active for the full selected period.

Flexible membership (Luminary) runs until further notice without a fixed contract period and is billed monthly.

Renewal and cancellation

• a reminder will be sent via SMS and email one (1) month before the next period begins, and the membership can be cancelled up until the next billing period
• the cancellation option will be visible in the member’s account under “My Profile” for 30 days
• if no cancellation is made, the membership will renew automatically

For flexible membership (Luminary), cancellation can be made at any time via “My profile”.

After cancellation

• no further charges will be made
• future payments are removed and no longer visible in the account
• the right to book new Circle Meets ends upon cancellation
• invitations, bookings, and expressions of interest end upon cancellation

6. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when signing up for membership online.

The right of withdrawal applies provided that the membership has not been used. The membership is considered to have been used when you accept an invitation to a Circle Meet or attend a Circle Meet within The Circle.

For physical products, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies according to applicable consumer legislation, provided that the product is returned in substantially unchanged condition.

Please contact us according to section 15 if you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.

7. Attendance, cancellations and non-attendance

To protect planning, the group experience and reserved places, the following applies:

When a member accepts an invitation, a place is reserved.

If unable to attend, the member must notify The Circle as soon as possible via:

For cancellations made later than 4 days before the booked Circle Meet, or in case of non-attendance without contact, a fee of 300 SEK will be charged for the reserved place.

Payment information will be sent separately by The Circle.

Acute and unforeseen situations are naturally handled with understanding when communicated promptly.

In cases of repeated non-attendance without dialogue, The Circle reserves the right to review the membership.

7.1 Termination by The Circle

The Circle reserves the right to terminate a membership in cases of repeated breaches of these terms, misuse of the membership, or behaviour that negatively affects members, the business, group dynamics or the brand.

This may also include repeated non-attendance, lack of respect for reserved places, or other actions that are not in line with The Circle’s framework.

8. Circle Meets & Access

Circle Meets require pre-registration and have a limited number of spots.

Circle Meets are held at selected restaurants and venues where guests pay for their own experience directly to the organizer or venue.

The Circle reserves the right to adjust time, location, or format if necessary, for example for organizational reasons or in case of force majeure. In case of significant changes, affected members will be informed

8.1 Access & Membership Restriction

Access to Circle Meets and other membership activities is strictly reserved for active members.

Members may not bring external guests or non-members without the explicit written consent of The Circle.

Violation of this rule may constitute a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of the membership in accordance with Section 7.

The Circle may request a profile photo or other reasonable identification from members prior to participation in Circle Meets if the account lacks a profile photo or the person cannot be clearly identified, in order to ensure safety and proper group curation.

9. Conduct & Community Rules

Members are expected to show respect, follow instructions from organizers, and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment.

Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from Circle Meets and/or termination of membership.

10. Liability & Limitations

Participation in Circle Meets is at your own risk. Each member is responsible for their personal belongings and their own actions.

The Circle is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our liability is, to the extent permitted by mandatory law, limited to the amount you paid for the current membership period.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All content belonging to The Circle, including texts, images, and trademarks, may not be used without written permission.

Material shared within the community may be protected by copyright and subject to personal privacy. Please respect this.

12. Personal Data

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on the website.

13. Changes to Terms

The Circle may update these Terms as needed.

In case of significant changes, members will be informed via the website and/or email. By continuing to use our services after changes have taken effect, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Applicable Law & Disputes

Swedish law applies to these Terms.

Disputes may be tried in a general court in Sweden. As a consumer, you also have the right to contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or the EU's dispute resolution platform.
